Epson UK wanted to run a monthly sales incentive for Q1 2017.
The theme and prizes were all exotic holiday related, with the prizes being won daily.
Goals included:
- Redesign key areas of the site
- Improve mobile experience for users
- Improve both retention and conversion rates
Challenge
Epson UK are coming up with increasingly innovative ways to engage and incentivise their partners.
Creating a new process from scratch that we knew had to run smoothly meant some additional scoping at the outset, a high-level prototype once we’d confirmed the approach and a doubling of QA resource once we had developed the solution. The target was to ensure the incentive engaged the sales teams and worked perfectly every time.
Outcome
Engaging design
Having worked closely with Epson UK to come up with the creative and design for the first month, we then worked to see how we could reuse the functionality to keep costs down, whilst still trying to come up with something engaging for the subsequent months.
Increased sales
The output was an interactive prize selection game and simple data capture with eye-catching creative. Epson UK received excellent feedback from their partners and an increase in sales compared to the same period in 2016.
