Danwood approached Xigen to help them redesign key areas of their website.
They wanted to increase their retention rate and drive additional enquiries through lead gen campaigns.
Danwood are part of Apogee, Europe’s largest independent provider of managed print services.
Goals included:
- Redesigning key areas of the site
- Improving mobile experience for users
- Improving both retention and conversion rates
Challenge
The original Danwood website was built some time ago and was therefore not responsive.
Xigen needed to redesign and rebuild certain areas of the site in order to achieve a great mobile experience for Danwood’s audience, helping them to retain more of the traffic they were previously missing out on. The site design was old and inflexible and was turning off users from completing enquires.
Outcome
Improved usability
Xigen performed a partial redesign of the website before updating the current WordPress CMS backend in order to achieve the desired outcome.
The homepage and navigation elements were completely redesigned along with a number of other core components.
Improved conversion
The new design increased the time on page by an additional 13 seconds (average) per visitor and increased the page views by 9.55% and decreased the bounce rate by 6.08% compared to the same period the year before.
